Im going to have to go with a big FAT nope! Just because they have the same word does not mean that eating fat will make us fat.
There are many things to consider when thinking about why the body wants to hold onto excess weight.
Sleep- Circadian rhythm
Insulin- The “storage” hormone
Leptin Resistance- Not getting the signal that you are full.
Carbs- Spiking insulin
Hormones- Slowing the metabolism down
Inflammation- When the body is inflamed it will not lose excess fat.
Toxic Load- Pesticides, herbicides, plastics, and other chemicals.
I just wanted to get this up because I know its a hot topic right now. I will elaborate much much more!
